Sifting the World

The bottom line is we need help, through prayers and financial support.  God cannot use us in Italy for His plan until we have raised full financial support.  Since, we are going for the first time right now, our support needs come in two different areas… 1) monthly on-going support and 2) one-time outgoing expenses.  Once we have raised both in full, we will be able to depart to be part of His work in Italy.  All financial support gifts, whether monthly or one-time, need to be given through TEAM, in order to be tax deductible.  Below is a little more detail as to what each of the two support areas entail.

1)                Monthly On-going Support
What this is:  This is made up of regular support given by both individuals and churches.  This is similar to tithing within the church.  In the same way that people give back to God what He has given to them, they would use what God has given them to support His work through us in Italy…storing up treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroy.

What this includes:  Living allowance, TEAM fees, housing, area administration, work funds, education expenses, insurance (health, dental, etc.), pension, future traveling expenses, etc.

When do we need this:  The great part about this, is that as soon as monthly on-going support begins to be given to us, it will build up and go towards our one-time outgoing expenses, until we are ready to leave.  We cannot leave until this has been raised in full.

How this can be given:  By check, credit card, automatic payments, and more.

2)                One-time Outgoing expenses
What this is:  This is a perfect opportunity for those who want to give a one-time gift of any amount and at anytime.  It will go toward our out-going expenses of getting to Italy and setting up.

What this includes:  Outgoing travel (1^st term), housing funds, language costs (1^st term), outfit/shipping (1^st term), inland shipping on field (1^st term), used vehicle, one month monthly reserve.

When we need this:  We cannot leave until we have raised this in full.  *note - Once our one-time outgoing expenses have been met in full, we will not need to raise this again.  We will only need to maintain our monthly on-going support.
